Dr. Parshati Patel

Dr. Parshati Patel is an Astrophysicist turned Science Communicator, and Author with an expertise in Public and Youth Engagement, STEM Education and Science Communication. Parshati has a Ph.D. in Astronomy and Planetary Science & Exploration from Western University. Post Ph.D., she transitioned into the field of Science Communication and Education to pursue her passion for engaging and inspiring the next generation of space explorers. For 10+ years, Parshati has been communicating about astronomical phenomena and space research through traditional and social media as well as by developing space themed programs. She is currently on leave from her position at Western University’s Institute for Earth and Space Exploration where she is the Educational Outreach and Communications Specialist.
